{IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG}

It has been so long since I have been on here, I have been so busy and enjoying life
that I kind of forgot all about updating my blog. I hope that for a while, that
I will be able to keep it up to date. As most of you know, I will be moving to North Dakota. Brecken
got an opportunity to work up there, and he took it. After a lot of talking and
thinking, Brecken and I decided that I will move up there. I honestly am so
excited and I can not wait to move from St. George. It is a new adventure and
journey that I am looking forward too. Yeah it will be hard to leave family and
comfort of what I have here, but I can not wait to be there with Brecken.

Brecken and I have been together for a year and a half now. I never believed it when
people would tell me all the time that time flies when you are in love. It really
does though, I can remember the first day that we ever met. I was sitting there
in my car waiting for him to come outside of his house, I was so nervous. Then
he walked out of the side gate and when I got out of my car he smiled at me. I
totally couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear, that smile was so adorable. Then
he hugged me, and totally just made me even happier when he gave me a huge hug
and picked me up. Those are my absolute favorite hugs. He was such a gentleman
and went and got me a blanket, cause I was freezing cold. He started a fire,
and I couldn’t help but look at his small butt as he bent over starting the
fire. Oh he was so cute, I didn’t believe that day that we would be here today.
A year and a half later, I am so in love with this boy. He still amazes me. He
still makes me smile from ear to ear. He still is a gentleman. I cant wait for
the years to come.

This picture is from when my family got to go to Costa Rica this March. It was so much fun!

{Happy Thanksgiving}

To everyone

I am so thankful for so many things in my life. I wanted to take sometime and write a few things. So since thanksgiving is on the 25th day, I decided to do 25 things that I am thankful for. Maybe you all can take sometime and think or write about all the thing or just a few of the things you are thankful to have in your life. After all what would thanksgiving me if we couldn’t look back and see what we are thankful for in our own life.

1. I am thankful for my family, I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. I love you so much!

2. I am thankful for the gospel in my life, and the many wonderful blessings it brings.

3. I am thankful for prayer, when I don’t think I can stand anymore I kneel.

4. I am thankful for grandparents who want the best for me, and are such wonderful role models in my life.

5. I am thankful for Brecken, everything that he does for me and the love he gives me. I love you Brecken!

6. I am thankful for the ability to write, when my life is confusing I can turn to my pencil and paper and write my feelings away.

7. I am thankful for the ability to see, smell, taste, and hear. The many wonders of life that I would miss out on.

8. I am thankful for having a job. Helping me independent and understand the true meaning of work, also giving me the things that I have.

9. I am thankful for the family traditions that we have, I loved growing up with all of them and hope to keep them going.

10. I am thankful to wake up each day, and see the wonders that it will bring me.

11. I am thankful for my primary class. I love being able to learn right along with them.

12. I am thankful for the friends I have in my life.

13. I am thankful for a toothbrush and toothpaste. I can say I think this is my favorite part of the whole day. Nothing is better than that clean feeling in my mouth.

14. I am thankful for shower, so nice to wash my worries away for a bit and smell clean and fresh.

15. I am thankful for my cell phone. The communication that I can have with people who aren’t right here with me, and of course for the camera that it has on it.

16. I am thankful for teachers, and all kinds of teachers. The knowledge that they give to each and everyone of us; giving us the ability to grow and bloom each day. Especially thankful for the teachers who don’t know that they are teachers.

17. I am thankful that my parents are still together and still so much in love.

18. I am thankful for pictures and cameras, capturing moments and being able to look back on them is such a wonderful thing.

19. I am thankful for the temple, and I cant wait to go there one day.

20. I am thankful to have a home. A place over my head, and a bed to sleep in.

21. I am thankful for smiles and hugs. No matter what happens in life, it is so nice to be greeted with a smile and a hug from people. I cant get enough of them.

22. I am thankful for the feeling of love and the wonder it brings into my life.

23. I am thankful for the soldiers of this country, and their fight each day to keep this country free and safe. Thank you so very much for everything that you do.

24. I am thankful for the family I have grown up in. The teaching of generosity and courage, thankfulness and health, love and support, and all the memories we have together. I am so happy that we are so close and we do love each other so much.

25. I am thankful for the people who have come into my life, and whether your in it now or not. I am thankful for the time we had together. The times we shared, the lessons I learned from you and the smile you brought to my face. Each person I have or had in my life is special. Thank you all.

i hope you all do actually take sometime to think of all that you have..

love you all, kenz

I started a few years ago, and since then just slowly getting things here and there. Mine is going to be gingerbread of course, since they are my absolute favorite Christmas thing.. and the colors are bright red, lime green, pearly white, and some silver. We saw so many cute ideas, and of course I got some picture. Gotta have the picture for future references.

Life is about constant changes. From day to day, everything is always changing. I tried to find some way cute little saying on google about how things are always changing and then I ran across this little song. I mean come on, gotta love sesame street!

I kinda chopped it up, so it wouldn’t be so long..

So here ya go,

Things are always changing

So don’t be sad and blue

Change can make you happy

Cause it brings you something new

Caterpillars all wrapped up

And he wont tell you why

Inside his sack he’s changing

Soon he’ll be a butterfly

If you lost your pollywongs

They don’t really disappear

They change into frogs

And jump into the air

The seasons keep on changing too

The summer turns into fall

No more swimming no more picnics

But we get to play football!

So don’t be sad and blue

Changes can make you happy

And bring you something new

Yes I know this is long, but I have a reason to put this cute little song on here. I had a change happen in my life. Something I always seem to do.. haha I changed my hair, once again. I’ve gone dark before, but haven’t been this red/brown since sophomore year in high school. I’m loving it (minus the fact that I hate trying to cover up blonde, it’s a pain)

old hair.

new hair.

p.s. thankyou mommy, for doing this.

even though we will have to do it again.

like i said, dumb blonde hair!

Photobucket

It isn’t easy being in love with you and not being able to see you everyday. Every second of my day I think about how I would give anything just to be able to gaze into your eyes or hold you in my arms, even if its just for a few minutes. I always feel incomplete, like a part of me is missing, when we’re not together. I know that right now this is how things have to be, but that doesn’t make it any easier to bear. Every day without you just reminds me of the joy you add to my life, and the joy I’m missing every day with you, and that i’m counting every minute until we are together once again.

p.s.. I get to see this boy in 9 days!! I cant wait!

{{Rodeo}}

Thursday night I went with Brecken’s family to the rodeo. Madison was doing the barrels that night. It was so much fun to spend time with his family and see all the kids. The pictures are kinda fuzzy, guess we couldn’t quite keep still. Oh well.

{Saturday}

My family and I spent the day at the Hard Rock Café on Saturday. Shallow Day had made it into the finals, the top 5! So we went to support. They are an awesome band from here in St. George. Their show was a total blast! They did such an amazing job, and totally rocked the house. The café was packed with Shallow Day fans. Brooke and Robin said that after they boys played the café emptied out and it never got full again for the rest of the bands. The results came back at six. Sadly, Shallow Day took third place.. All because Mike’s guitar strap broke the first song and he had to re-tune it, which I find absolutely stupid. They shouldn’t take point for that.. that kinda stuff always happens and isn’t planned.. Good job boys! You did an awesome job! Cant wait for the next concert!

Here in a Drum Solo before their song Hollywood Lady!

Seriously Guys, Check them out.

Youtube.com or Facebook them! They are awesome!!
