So I’ve been cooking a lot of the nights since we have gotten into the apartment. It’s a good, fun challenge to come up with a menu for the week. I made these BBQ Pork Sandwiches one night, and they were a total hit. I must say that they were pretty amazing. I wanted to get a picture, but I felt kind of dumb pulling out my camera in front of everyone and taking a picture of my food. So I didn’t, and they were pretty much gone when I got the opportunity to take a picture. So I will just have to settle for the link to the website and a picture from there. I do say though myself, they are a must try. And super easy to make, seriously a breeze!

Here was the Game Plan... Saturday we would drive from St. George to Pocatello Idaho 7 hours 12 mins, 479.13 miles.
Sunday we would drive from Pocatello Idaho to Bismarck, North Dakota 12 hours 3 mintues, 812.28 miles.
Monday I would then be dropping off my mom at the airport in Bismarck (cause flights werent going out of Minot until thursday, and due to the flood there was no hotels that were open and three of us in the trailer with one bed wouldn't work.) I would then make the 1 hour 50 minute, 109.96 miles drive to Minot by myself.
So we started our journey northward, and stopped in Salt Lake at Jamie's condo where the family was having their monthly get together. They were all having so much fun swimming in the pool, it was so good to see everyone even though it was just for a short amount of time. The kids are all growing up so fast I can hardly believe my eyes, it crazy how much they grow up in just such a short amount of time. Once we left Jamie's condo, we headed to Pocatello and stayed at the Hampton Inn. Geez, that Hampton Inn is soo nice, I recommend staying there if you are headed up that way.
Sunday, we woke up a little on the late side; but I figured it didn't matter. We ate breakfast and got on the road. Then it hit, the construction... let me tell you I have never hated construction sites so much as I did on this trip. They were everywhere! The speed limit was only 35, and of course not a single soul was found on any one of the job sites.! So our just under 13 hour driving day turned into 16 with all the construction that we ended up going through. We stopped along out journey at a little fishing town in Idaho, and took some pictures. Then we stopped at Big Sky, Montana to have some late lunch at the BugaBoo Cafe. Then again along the road in Montana at the Cinnamon Lodge, took some pictures and dipped our toes in the freezing Montana waters. Finally at 1:30am we made it to Bismarck, North Dakota Hamptonn Inn.
Monday, we had breakfast and lounged a little; got ready and then left the hotel. Mom's flight wasn't until later in the evening and she didn't have to be to the airport until approx 3pm. We ended up walking around the mall and target, and drove around Bismarck. It is kinda a nice town, got lots of fun restraunts and things like that. I dropped Mom off at the aiport and headed to Minot. 1 hour and 30 minutes later I was in Minot, ND. Finally, no more driving.! Yay, I was at my new home..
Here are a few pictures from the trip.. I wish I would of taken more, but I didn't.
Welcome to Idaho
The little fishing village
Mom and I took some pictures
Cinnamon Lodge. Yes there was a huge carved bear! so of course we had to take pictures with it! duh!

{IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG…}
It has been so long since I have been on here, I have been so busy and enjoying life
that I kind of forgot all about updating my blog. I hope that for a while, that
I will be able to keep it up to date. As most of you know, I will be moving to
got an opportunity to work up there, and he took it. After a lot of talking and
thinking, Brecken and I decided that I will move up there. I honestly am so
excited and I can not wait to move from St. George. It is a new adventure and
journey that I am looking forward too. Yeah it will be hard to leave family and
comfort of what I have here, but I can not wait to be there with Brecken.
Brecken and I have been together for a year and a half now. I never believed it when
people would tell me all the time that time flies when you are in love. It really
does though, I can remember the first day that we ever met. I was sitting there
in my car waiting for him to come outside of his house, I was so nervous. Then
he walked out of the side gate and when I got out of my car he smiled at me. I
totally couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear, that smile was so adorable. Then
he hugged me, and totally just made me even happier when he gave me a huge hug
and picked me up. Those are my absolute favorite hugs. He was such a gentleman
and went and got me a blanket, cause I was freezing cold. He started a fire,
and I couldn’t help but look at his small butt as he bent over starting the
fire. Oh he was so cute, I didn’t believe that day that we would be here today.
A year and a half later, I am so in love with this boy. He still amazes me. He
still makes me smile from ear to ear. He still is a gentleman. I cant wait for
the years to come.
This picture is from when my family got to go to Costa Rica this March. It was so much fun!

The Jubilee of Trees 2010
So my mom and I haven’t been to the festival for years, and I wanted to go so bad this year. I love getting ideas to do my own Christmas tree, and yes I already have started getting things for it. I started a few years ago, and since then just slowly getting things here and there. Mine is going to be gingerbread of course, since they are my absolute favorite Christmas thing.. and the colors are bright red, lime green, pearly white, and some silver. We saw so many cute ideas, and of course I got some picture. Gotta have the picture for future references.
So enjoy (:

Life is about constant changes. From day to day, everything is always changing. I tried to find some way cute little saying on google about how things are always changing and then I ran across this little song. I mean come on, gotta love sesame street!
I kinda chopped it up, so it wouldn’t be so long..
So here ya go,
Things are always changing
So don’t be sad and blue
Change can make you happy
Cause it brings you something new
Caterpillars all wrapped up
And he wont tell you why
Inside his sack he’s changing
Soon he’ll be a butterfly
If you lost your pollywongs
They don’t really disappear
They change into frogs
And jump into the air
The seasons keep on changing too
The summer turns into fall
No more swimming no more picnics
But we get to play football!
So don’t be sad and blue
Changes can make you happy
And bring you something new
Yes I know this is long, but I have a reason to put this cute little song on here. I had a change happen in my life. Something I always seem to do.. haha I changed my hair, once again. I’ve gone dark before, but haven’t been this red/brown since sophomore year in high school. I’m loving it (minus the fact that I hate trying to cover up blonde, it’s a pain)

new hair.
p.s. thankyou mommy, for doing this.
even though we will have to do it again.
like i said, dumb blonde hair!
