J.B.C Part 6

[First Job & First Love]
I have worked my entire life at the Cleaners with my parents until I moved to ND. I always had a side job being a Nanny for the kids across the street, I loved it. Now that I am back from ND, I can say that working at the Cleaners has a whole new meaning. I absolutely love everything about it, and I do have those days; where I wonder what the hell I am doing. I love it though, and I can't wait one day to day over this legacy that my parents started. Keep the tradition of what we do going and always provide the service that our town has come to expect from us over the last 20 years. I am grateful that I was able to have been brought up in my parents business, it really gives me an appreciation for hard work and respect.
First Love, I always thought in high school that one of my relationships was my first love. That was until I met my last boyfriend, he definitely was my first love. They say your first heartbreak is the hardest to get over, and I can agree on that. I have never been through the kind of heartache like I experience with this last breakup, but time heals all wounds. It really is amazing the kind of strength and self worth I have come out with through out all of this though. I am glad that I went through what I did, because it has made me into a much stronger person. I can honestly say now, I know what kind of relationship I want. I know the kind of man I want for a future husband, the father I want for my future children, and the man I want by my side throughout my entire life here on earth. A first love will hold a special place in your heart, but the love of your life will completely over take that and make the heartache you felt at one time, like a sliver in your finger.

June Blog Challenge Part 5

[Wedding & Anniversary] I don’t know any girl, that hasn’t at least thought about their future wedding. I’ve always dreamed a few themes. Vintage Carnival, Vintage Travel, or Bright Bright Bright; and my Pinterest Board says it all.

I think my perfect anniversary would be one where my husband just surprises me with a little getaway vacation that is just the two of us. A night away, a weekend away, a week or two away; as long as it’s just us.

J.B.C Part 4

[Labor and SAHM] First things First, I want to enjoy my labor. I want to be able to relax, and also I would like to leave the hospital not saying I will never have another child. So drugs, yes. I am too much of a panty weight to not do it without them anyways. I know though, I will have to turn around and never look at that needle. Give me the creeps even thinking about it right now.

SAHM – aka. Stay at Home Mom. I would love to be a stay home mom while my children are growing up. If I have to work, which in this economy, day, and age; I most likely will. I would love to be able to drop off my kids to school, and pick them up, or be at home when they arrive. That would be idealistic. I want to be able to enjoy my children’s childhoods and savor all the simple moments of being a mom. Plus, I want to be there for all their “firsts”.

[skipping - How supportive is your SO in your TTC journey? & How do you help get yourself (and or SO) get in the mood to DTD during the fertile period? – I am not pregnant or trying]

being at home means i would get too enjoy moments like this above

[Future Children]
See I have this thing with kid names; love them, hate sharing them.

J.B.C. Part 2

[Car – Current VS Dream]
“Money may not buy Happiness, but I’d rather cry in a Jaguar than in a bus.”
So I always have loved these two cars.
A Porsche Cayenne and Range Rover Sport, now I would take either one;
but if you know me, I am a truck girl all the way.
Sadly, I don’t want to have to choose between the Truck and the SUV.
Hopefully one day I will have worked hard enough to be able to have both of them.

[Biggest Indulgence] easy, shopping.
[Favorite Snack]
I don’t think I have a favorite snack per say,
but if I walk into a cupcake shop I can’t walk out without one, or two.
I also crave ice cream on a weekly basis, and i think Starbucks takes most of my extra money.

[Pets]
Our family has (5) dogs. Yep, 5; Cougar (Lab), Diamond, Buggies, Callie, and Maddi (Beagles). Then we have Patches our cat, who only like our Dad. Chickens, and Goats; if you consider them pets. I want a Morkie really bad though.

Family Story.

June Blogging Challenge

I really like these blogging challenges, because it always gets my mind rolling. I also don’t mind if I skip a day or two because I have something else that I would rather blog about. That is the beauty of it being my own personal blog. I can do whatever the heck I want too. So here it goes. The June Blogging Challenge.

1.Family story - how did your parents meet, how many brothers/sisters, tell us what you want.
2. What do you drive? What is you dream car?
3. Biggest indulgence
4. Favorite snack?
5. Do you have any pets?
6. Name you picked out for your kids when you were younger. Bonus: share any name ideas you have now
7. You're in labor: drugs or no drugs. Why?
8. If you had a choice - SAHM?
9. How supportive is your SO in your TTC journey?
10. How do you help get yourself (and or SO) get in the mood to DTD during the fertile period?
11. Describe your wedding.
12. Perfect anniversary - describe it.
13. What's the most interesting vacation you have been on?
14. First job
15. First love
16. What did you have for breakfast today? What do you normally have?
17. Do you drink coffee? Cream/sugar/how do you drink your coffee?
18. If your insurance covered infertility treatments at 100%, unlimited attempts - what would you try and for how long?

So I am going to start with the first few and then catch up throughout the month.

[Family Story]
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. I think that is so true, because through the hardships of life you never know what is coming your way. Then in a miracle, it doesn’t seem to matter; because your family is there by your side and with them you can conquer anything that life throws in your path.
This is how my parents met. Dad and his buddy followed Mom home one night, scaring the crap out of her. Then she realized who it was and called him every name in the book. After that they were inseparable, and married April 10, 1987. Dad had a daughter from his previous marriage, Torie, she was 10 at the time. I came along 2 years later on August 28, 1989. The family moved to St. George from the Salt Lake Valley when I was 2 and opened our family business. My bother came October 1, 1993; 6 weeks before his due date, and was a fighter. So here we are in 2013. Dad (Lynn), Mom (Marilyn), Torie (35), Myself (23), and Levi (19); one big happy crazy funny family.
{Fun Facts about The Spafford's}

(1)     My parents are 14 years apart, and you would never know it. My dad looks soo young for his age.

(2)     Torie, Levi, and Myself are splitting images of my father.

(3)     We all love the lake, travelling, photos, stories, and dessert; and buckle.

(4)     All of us at one point have worked, managed, or owned a part of the family business.

(5)     We all have iPhones except Levi. He is the odd man out.

(6)     When we have something good to share, we practically share it with whoever we can. We get a tad bit excited. Just like my Grandma Spafford would when she would get presents.

(7)     We all LOVE Disneyland and holidays a little too much

(8)     We all have experienced an earthquake in Costa Rica, and everyone except for Mom slept through it.

(9)     Christmas and Birthday are all a little too out done in our house. We love spoiling each other and celebrating.

(10) We all lose things too easily. It’s actually quite hilarious.

The missing additions to our photo are.. Torie, Peanut, Kati, and Schev.
We dont have a picture with Torie and Peanut yet. We are planning on having pictures done soon though. The above picture is from our Crew Photo or our new building.
Kati and Schev, pretty much adopted into the family. Kati = My Bestie, Schev = Levi's Bestie (if i can call him that) even though these two aren't blood, they are part of our family. we love them the exact same and wouldn't imagine family without them.
