North Dakota Vacation - Part 2

If you saw yesterday’s post, then you know what is about to happen. The wrap up of my North Dakota Vacation.

BRAD PAISLEY

But what is a fair without seeing
THE ANIMALS

It was absolutely adorable to watch our friend’s little girl get super excited to see all the animals. She even was able to pet a bunch of the horses in their stables and ride one.

I will admit; I was excited that the fair was in town while I was in town, but I was even more excited to just spend sometime with my boy (:

North Dakota Vacation - Part 1

I was so excited when I got the chance to be able to spend some more time with Brecken in North Dakota this past weekend. Anytime that work allows me to take time and getaway, I do it. I love being able to fly up and see him as much as possible. There is nothing better than being able to spend time with someone who makes you smile as much as he makes me smile! Now, I wont get into all the details of the weekend. I wanted to share some of my favorite moments.

Waiting to board the plane in St. George

Shortly after taking off from the airport, just after passing Zion's National Park. I think Utah has to be on of the prettiest states, but I may be biased.

Does every guy do this or did I just get lucky?

While I was in town the North Dakota State Fair was going on. Which means lots of concerts and fair food! I was super excited when Brecken told me he got us tickets to go to the concerts! Yep, I am spoiled. While I would miss the first weekend of concerts, I still was able to see Florida Georgia Line, Three Days Grace, and Brad Paisley.

So, here is a small glimpse of the fun time we had at the fair…

Tune in tomorrow for some more photos!

Vegas Recovery

This past weekend was spent in Las Vegas celebrating a friends birthday. It was a blast, but I am sure tired now. This is actually the first trip I have taken to Vegas where I actually went clubbing. I know, I am 24 years old, I live 2 hours away, and I haven't been yet. It was fun and there will definitely be more Vegas trips with clubs involved. The picture above was taken from the 28th floor of the Palms Sky Villa. No, we didn't have the luxury of staying in this villa with its extremely high price tag. Although, wouldn't that be awesome. This particular 6,100 square foot Sky Villa had 4 bedrooms (2 masters and 2 guest rooms), 4 bathrooms, living and dinning rooms, full bar, and of course this balcony that had an infinity jacuzzi. Nothing short of amazing!

Then we were off to PURE at Caesar's Palace, the music was perfect. It was such a good mix of things that are popular right now, a couple years ago, and of course the 90's.! Honestly, if it wasn't so overly packed with people, we would of stayed longer. Well that and the fact drinks were way over priced. It definitely is a good time though.! After that we found ourselves back at the room, getting more alcohol since we had plenty of it there and then back out to find more fun. Once we were all partied out, of course Denny's sounded amazing, well food in general sounded amazing, but at 4 in the morning, not much is open. So, Denny's it was. Then it was off to bed.

By the time we actually all got up and out of bed, it was noon and we had to check out. We then found ourselves at the House of Blues for lunch, which is such good food. Talk about a messy and yet amazing burger, Smoked BBQ Burger. Who could turn down a burger with melted cheese, sauteed onions, fried jalapenos, bacon, this amazing bbq sauce, all on top of a bun! Yes, it was to die for, and yes I did in fact eat every single bite of it. Plus, the delicious sweet potato fries and fry sauce were amazing. Sadly, it was time for the weekend to come to and end, us girls climbed in my car and made the short 2 hour trip home. It was a good weekend, but man am I tired. I just wanna go back to bed and sleep some more. I may possibly need a nap before tonight's shift at B-dubs.

hope you all have a wonderful monday

Thankful

November has to be one of my favorite times of the year. I think it is because it is really the true start of the Holiday season. Signs of holiday joy are always popping up through out the month. You start thinking and shopping for all the special people in your life. Best of all, I get to see all my family numerous times through out the next couple of months. I absolutely love the feeling and joy that the holiday season brings to me. Also, November is the time of the year where people actually think about the things in their lives that they have to be grateful for.! Even though we have something to be grateful for each and everyday of our lives. Anyways,, I thought it be appropriate to write down a few things each Thursday of what I am thankful for. So if you would like to join along with me, email me and I will throw a little link thing on my page next week. Love to have you join along!

-ONE- Family. I don't know what I would ever do without my family. They are the supporting rock that keeps me grounded and the wings that keep my spirits high. I am extremely blessed to have such a wonderful and supporting family. I know through thick and thin we will always be there for one another and the support that each other needs to fall into.
-TWO- Friends. It is never the quantity of friends, but the quality of friends that makes friendship wonderful.  I can truly say that I have a wonderful group of friends that I can count on, lean on, learn with, and make memories. But you know what is even better; I have the absolute best friend a girl could ask for. She has and always will be there for me through absolutely everything. She is more than a friend, more than a bestie, she is my partner in crime and my sister.
-THREE- Home. I am grateful to have a roof that keeps me safe and sound every day and night. The best thing about it though; It's not a house but a home. Filled with memories, warmth, love, and security.
-FOUR- Sight. Being able to watch the sunrise on the way to work this morning was beautiful and its little things like that I take for granted each and every day.
-FIVE- Happiness. This is something that I never realized I would be grateful for. Until about a year ago, the feeling of happiness wasn't something that I thought was important. I mean of course you have your happy moments, but the feeling of waking up and being happy just because you are truly happy and content with life. It is such an amazing feeling that I am truly grateful for. It was quite the journey to finally be in a place of happiness, but now I am so grateful for all the trials that have gotten me here to this place in which I stand now. Happiness is such a wonderful feeling.!

and since it is Thursday I am going to do a little salute to the past..
#throwbackthursday

I am excited for winter because of the boots, sweaters, scarfs, and cooler weather.
I sure miss summer though and the lake days.

Much Love, kenzie.

Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day:
A day off from the routine,
A day in the sunshine,
A day spent with friends,
A day where memories were made,
A day where laughter was constant,
A day to remember..

Weekend Shenanigans

Since I was home sick yesterday, I didn't pay much attention to see if my post had actually published. I had done it through my phone, and it didn't, so here is yesterdays post a day late :)
Saturday night a group of us went to Tuacahn to see Throughly Modern Millie. If you know me, you know I love plays. This was so fun to watch, and of course I loved all the 20 era outfits. It was such a fun night of meeting new friends, having new adventures, and enjoying it all with my little bro. I love how close we are, and how we always do things together. Nothing better than that.!

The on Sunday, it was a nice relaxing day. While growing up we as a family always used to do ear candles in each other. So when Mom came home with two bags, I, of course had to do one on her and see all the gunk that it pulled out haha.!

Well I hope that everyone has a wonderful Monday.!
Much love, Kenzie.
