Oh the Days.

When you decided to go through old boxes of photos, you come across marvelous treasures such as the pictures below. So in honor of the notorious #throwbackthursday, I thought I would share these awesome pictures with you. I am taking it back to the days of uber cheesy grins, picture posing queen, matching outfits and leather doc martin sandals.. geez, these pictures are so old. They have to at least be 10 or 12 years old.

I am unbelievably excited that Thanksgiving is just a short week away. It is that time again for Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Green Beans, and Pie; lots and lots of pie. Eek! I am super excited and then not to mention that Christmas is just a mere 3 weeks after that. No worries people, before you blink it will be Christmas Eve and you will have wondered where in the world that entire time went. Between shopping, children, hot coco, food, more shopping, present wrapping, families to see, long lines to endure, and the little children all excited to hear Santa; Christmas Eve will be here and it will all be worth the hassle of the last few weeks. I am so excited for the Holidays, as I always am. Time to start pulling out the Tree and getting the house all decorated.! Well to continue on with my Thankful Thursdays as I have done in this post and this one, I give you a short list of the things I am thankful for this week.

-one- Rain. This morning it started raining and to me rain is so peaceful. I love the sound of it, the smell, and the calm feeling it always brings me. Not to mention, I get the best sleep when it is raining outside.
-two- Coffee. I don’t honestly know what I would do without it; I absolutely love getting up in the morning and pouring myself a cup of it. It may possibly be the reason that I get going in the morning.
-three- Online Shopping. Since I live in a town that doesn’t very well accommodate the shopping needs of everyone in this town, I am grateful for online shopping so I can get everything I need.
-four- Work. I honestly do love my job, I love the people I work with, I love what I do, and I love the customers who come in (most of them). Now that I am taking on a second job, I am grateful for the opportunity to be able to have a primary job that will work so well with a secondary job. I know long days and night will be head of me, but I am grateful that I have the opportunity to be able to get two jobs to support and enjoy life the way that I want too.

-five- Kati. I know that I have already mentioned that I am grateful for family and friends, but ladies and gents; my best friend is amazing. I don’t know what I would do without her. She seriously is my rock, glue, or whatever you what to call it. She is so supportive of my decisions, yet tells me when I am being a complete idiot. I read this article yesterday; it describes our relationship to a T. We are more than friends, best friends, sister, we are soul mates; it’s the truth. We are a package deal, you get 2 for 1. Hooked at the hip and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Much Love, Kenzie.

That one time I was a Blonde.

Time for some
 Throw Back Thursday Photos
Back to the days where I was Blonde. Like really blonde.
And,, This girl and I bought four, yes four pies.
Cause when you go to Veyo Pie; It's hard to decide on just one pie.
Honestly, my favorite pies in the entire world!

Now Blogtember:
Thursday, September 5: Pass on some useful advice or information you learned and always remembered.

So my grandma always used to tell me to “paint the town red” and I seriously think this is the best advice for life. Never hold back and always give your hundred percent in everything you do. Take the opportunity when it arises, because you don’t want it to slip by you. Smile and forget about grudges. Remember this, Have Fun!

Playing A Lil Catch Up!

Hello Readers/Followers,
I am sorry for being MIA so much on the blog lately. I have had such a crazy schedule with trying to send my parents off to Costa Rica that I haven’t had any time to myself. Therefore I don’t have time to do all the blogging that I would like. I will be playing a little catch up today. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will all be featured in one post. I will apologize in advance for the length of it,, it may be long.
Tuesday: Talk on The Block
The Bachelorette
That’s right it was the Finale, and Des is Engaged; too CHRIS!
Personally I think it is the best decision. Even though I liked Brooks, I don’t think he was as far along in the journey of their relationship as Des was. Chris is everything that Des has been wanting the entire season. I think Chris will make Des happy forever! Happy Engagement to Des and Chris!
Dunn Dunn… and the Big News.. Ladies and Gents.
The Next Bachelor… Juan Pablo.!
Where can I sign up,,? Can you say yummy?!
Wednesday: Words of Wisdom
I have learned so much about myself in such a short period of time this past 6 months. I know that I should always stand up for myself, my beliefs, and my future. I should stand strong in my own shoes, because I should be comfortable enough to be who I am; at all times. I never want to try and be someone else, just because that is what someone else expects of me. I am myself for a reason; uniqueness is beauty in every form.
Thursday: Throwing it Back.
 Lake Days with My Bestie!
p.s. I have to give a shout out to Kati. I am so very proud of this girl right here! She has reached her 18 month mark of sobriety, and it is an amazing accomplishment. She is such an inspiration to me! Such a strong and beautiful young woman she is.!

Old School

This week my mind has been lost back in time. When life was easier, and playing was all that we worried about. Bringing back all the memories of growing up and the friends that have come in and out of my life during the process. I just wanted to take some time to shout out to the girls that have been there through it all. I love you all and am thankful for each and everyone of you.

Kati: Adopted Sister or shall I say, Long Lost Twin.. Honestly don't know what I would do without you. No matter what goes on in life, we will stop in a second for each other and make sure each other is ok. Best Friends are hard to find, I am just sure glad that I found you! Thank you for sticking through all the thick and thin in life, and giving me a shoulder when I need it. Love You!

Barnum: My Other Half, Where would I be with out my B? Life wouldn't be complete without you.! We have had so many crazy adventures and you have been there with me through absolutely everything, and I mean everything. There isn't one thing we don't share. I love that no matter how long it has been, or the distance we overcome, its like nothing has ever changed. Love You Barnum. MC2 Forever :)

Lindsey: Girl seriously, we grew up together. Best Friends no matter what.! I will always have your back and you will always have mine. I love you to the moon and back, no matter how long the time. Through the thick and the thin, we always find our way. From crazy ex boyfriends too streaking down Main. haha! OOh the memories we have made. Nothing will replace them!!

TBT

Throw Back Thursday

I always find these so much fun;
remembering the things you may or "may not" have done in the past.
Oh the laughs and smiles it can bring to ones face.

July 4th Weekend: Lake Powell

The summer I really attempted to wakeboard.
Honestly though, I tried so hard to be good at it.
I just am not that good.. and I cant snowboard either.
I can say; I tried. I can get up, stay up, weave back and forth.
That is about it.
Well here is too the fun summer in Lake Powell,
and here is to the upcoming summer.
I cant wait, summer come quicker.
