Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Pizza

When my parents decide to leave the house, I am the only mouth that I have to worry about feeding. So, I usually like to opt for recipes that are simple and easy. I like to have recipes that can be altered for a single person or are great for leftovers the next day. When I found these Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Pizza on Pinterest, I knew that they would a great recipe.  They only have a couple of ingredients and take about 30 minutes from start to finish.

I love Chicken Alfredo Pizza as it is, so I was really excited to try this recipe out. They turned out delicious and I can’t wait to try them with different toppings (:

So, go to the store and grab these 5 items:

1 can Grands Homestyle Biscuits

1 can Progresso Creamy Parmesan Basil Recipe Starter

2 cups cooked chicken, cut into pieces

2 cups shredded Italian Blend cheese

1 cup Fresh Baby Spinach Leaves

Yep, this recipe only requires these 5 ingredients. Awesome, right?!

Spread out the Grand Biscuits on a cookie sheet or pizza pan, approx 6 inches in diameter. I used a pizza pan because I love the way pizza cooks on it!

Spread on a thin layer of Progresso Creamy Parmesan Basil Soup, then sprinkle lightly with some cheese. I would say about a tablespoon of each is perfect for each individual pizza.

Next, you’re going to add your chicken. I took the short cut and bought a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store and cut it up.

Top with baby spinach and more cheese! Then, bake 7-10 minutes at 400 degrees, or until golden brown. Serve immediately and enjoy!

FALL COLORS

I am still in love with this year’s Pantone color of the year; Radiant Orchard. I love how well the fall colors really compliment the color of the year. Radiant Orchard has been paired with some amazing and slightly on the brighter side than normal for this fall season. I love that the Radiant Orchard has been toned down to being a Mauve Mist color to the palette.  There also is this gorgeous and sort of exotic color of Sangria and a beautiful and classic Aurora Red.

When I think fall, I think jewel tones colors of Yellow and Green. I think the trees changing colors always have me leaning more and more toward those beautiful colors. This year, they did not disappoint with a warm and sunshine filled Misted Yellow. Also, there is an eye catching green that is going to be great to pair with all of these colors!

Cypress and Sangria

When I think of neutrals for the fall, I automatically think of brown. Cognac is just the perfect color for this season, it is warm and bright, yet pairs perfectly with all of the colors. I love though that they added a touch of sandy grey to the palette with a Sea Fog and Aluminum.

Last, but certainly not least. Fall has to have some cool colors to pair with the gorgeous warm colors of fall. The Bright Cobalt is going to pair perfect with all the neutral prints of the season; when I think of prints for the fall, I think leopard and floral. I love that they wrapped up this season cool colors with a brighter than normal blue, let me introduce you to the royal side with Royal Blue. I love that it isn’t the normal Navy color you would automatically think of when it comes to fall, but a slightly brighter and more complex color. These blue are going to pair perfectly with all of the colors this season.

Cobalt and Misted Yellow

I am totally in love with the simple fact that they blended the bright colors from this spring with the deeper tones of fall. It has sure made for one gorgeous color palette this season! I can’t wait to get out there and start shopping!

What do you think of the fall colors for 2014?

Romper + Floppy Fedora

I have been looking for to this week’s theme for The Creative Closet for so many reasons!

1. I have wanted to buy myself another Floppy Fedora Hat!
2. I found a Romper earlier this year and have been dying to wear it!
3. I loved all the fall colors within this outfit!
4. I couldn’t wait to wear my new booties!
5. Last, Ashley and I had the perfect idea where to take the pictures this week!

I have been in love with this Floppy Fedora Hat trend for a while now and I couldn’t wait to go and buy myself one! This week, obviously, was the perfect excuse to do so. When I walked into Buckle a few weeks back, I picked up this hat and fell in love. (I searched online to find you the exact one, but they don’t have it on their website! They do have some other adorable ones though. If you want this hat though, just walk into Buckle and ask them to look it up for you!)

I will be honest; I have been considering purchasing a romper since sometime in the spring. I just never got the guts to do so, because I was too afraid on the way it would look on me. I think personally, rompers are a hit or a miss. They either are perfect for your body or horrible, just because of the way they fit. I am sure glad that I decided to purchase this one a little while back. Because, it fits! I also love how comfortable it was and the fabric was really light. (FYI it was kind of weird to put on one single piece of clothing that wasn’t a dress, it played a mental trick on me for a few minutes)

I have to thank my amazing photographer! So, I had this mental image of the way I wanted these pictures. But, living in southern Utah kind of made that hard to fully capture. We don’t exactly have wheat/straw fields around here that we can just run into. Anyways, when we were out at the orchard, she found this perfect spot and I was in love. Even with the nasty pestering bugs, wet and incredibly itchy grass/weeds; she nailed this photo shoot, yet again.
