Words of Wisdom Wednesday : Friendship

{Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out,
but to see who cares enough to break them down.}
Friendship: a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. Friendship is a stronger from of interpersonal bond than an association. A World Happiness Database study found that people with close friendships are happier.
Childhood friendships were about toys, and family creating playtime. We grow older and once we become Adolescence the people we surround ourselves with are those who act the same, are into the same activities, or friends that we grew up with. Adulthood; graduation, marriage, parenthood, and careers can drift apart some of those friendship that you thought were so strong. The time in life that vulnerabilities and quirks mark or break friendships. This though is the time, when true Friendship Bonds occur and your term “Friends for Life” really comes into play. Old Age hits us faster than we expect and responsibilities become less and less, pressures of the world seem a little less significant; friendship is what you have to lean on. Friendship is important for a person’s well-being. Sometimes there are just those times when you need nothing more than a friend.

Even though we’ve changed and we’re all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spread across our face, we’ll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we’re not all still friends.
much love, kenzie.
