Thanksgiving Weekend

I feel like I haven’t blogged in such a long time, but it was so nice to spend the entire week and weekend with family and take a little break from the blog. I thoroughly enjoy all the time that I get to spend with my family around the holidays, there is nothing better.! Mom and I prepared Thanksgiving dinner all of Thursday morning, except the Turkey, that was Dad’s job this year. Dinner was delicious, if I say so myself; Turkey, Homemade Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies, Cranberry Sauce, Deviled Eggs, Potato Salad, Hot Rolls, and Pie; talk about a food coma. I am so incredibly thankful for the wonderful family I have. We have so many memories and as we sat around the table, reminiscing, laughing at all the crazy and fun things we have all done over the years. In that moment it hit me, how blessed I am to be so close to them all. I don’t know what I would do without each and every member of my family, blood or not. I have to be the luckiest person to have them all in my life.

Wednesday, I brought the Carmichael tradition of Pie Night to St. George. I was excited to start this tradition here with all my friends at home. Pie Night = night before Thanksgiving, everyone brings a pie ( or dessert ) and we eat, talk, and play games or watch a movie. We made it PieJama this year, which was a blast, cause we all cozied up on the couch to watch bridesmaids.
Enough about thanksgiving though, my friend Ashley and I went to see her boyfriend’s band play at George’s on Saturday night. I haven’t ever hear them play before and I loved them.! Sadly, I couldn’t find any way to share a direct link with you. So you will have to CLICK HERE to be transferred over to their facebook page. Seriously though guys, you have to listen to them. If you like artists/bands like City and Colour, you will love them.! Take a look and let me know how you like them!

Last news,, I am so excited to announce that I got a second job. I am super excited; I will be a server at Buffalo Wild Wings here in St. George! The restaurant will be opening December 16, so come and see us! I have to admit, a little nervous because I have never served before, but I am super excited to start with B-Dubs! Such a great restaurant food wise and the atmosphere just makes it a 10+ in my book! So ya’ll seriously, if you’re in the area, stop on in and enjoy some wings and a beer or two.!
I linked up with Sami today for Weekend Shenanigans.!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend, only 22 days till Christmas.!
Much Love, Kenzie.
