Dear Brother: Thank you for everything you do for me. I honestly have no idea what I would do without you at my side all the time. I am so very grateful that we are as close as we are. I will always be here for you, and know that I love you! I love all the adventures we have had over the years, and I can't wait for the many more we will make in the books for the future. Thanks for enduring all the pictures that I take, like the one above. I just want to document all the fun things we do and the place we go as we grow up. It will be fun to look back at all the things we did. Plus when I finally get my own home, I will plaster them all over the walls. I can promise you that. Muahahaha! Dear Apple: I hate that my iPhone 4 finally had to retire yesterday after having it for over 2 years. However I am in love with my brand new iPhone 5. Plus I got this adorable case to cover you, pretty much in love with it. Dear Neutrogena: I absolutely love your makeup removing towelettes that I purchased at Target a couple of days ago. They make the process of taking all the make-up off my face such a breeze, and they work perfectly with Ponds face cleansing towelettes that I have used for a while now. Just makes the night process so much easier, so thank you.! Dear Swig: Your are completely irresistible.! I love being able to drive right up to the window and get a fix of my raspberry limeades for so flippin cheap. Plus your frequent stamp card makes me love you approx. every two weeks when I get a drink for free..! Yep, love that.! Dear Mother Nature: I know it is April, and you love to go back and forth with your weather options this month. Honestly though, none of us like it. We all secretly, or not so secretly, wish you would just make up your damn mind of what you would like the weather to be like. Cause I can tell you teasing up with amazing 80 degree weather for a whole week and then wham its all a sudden 65 degrees, windy and cold as Jack Frost. Don’t really love that. Dear Salt Lake City: I am so very excited to see your beautiful mountains this weekend, and of course I can not wait to see all my family up there. My beautiful little cousin Emmie is getting baptized and I am so happy to be able to spend the day with her. It is such a beautiful and amazing experience to receive the blessing of a baptism and the companion ship of the Holy Ghost. I am so proud of you Emmie Dear: for making this choice. You are such a beautiful, smart, and caring little girl and you will be amazed at the blessing you will receive once you are baptized. Just remember this: Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you, and they are always there for you when you need it the most. The summer I really attempted to wakeboard.

Honestly though, I tried so hard to be good at it.

I just am not that good.. and I cant snowboard either.

I can say; I tried. I can get up, stay up, weave back and forth.

That is about it.

Well here is too the fun summer in Lake Powell,

and here is to the upcoming summer.

I cant wait, summer come quicker.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Meet my parents; Lynn and Marilyn Spafford.

Today they are celebrating 26 years of marriage.

Marriage is defined as a social union or legal contract between two people called spouses. I think that marriage is so much more than just a legal contract. I am not married myself, but I can see the love and patience it takes to make a marriage work. I have always wondered what people think it takes to stay happily married for a lifetime. So I started asking people around me, including my parents what they think it takes to make a marriage good. I find the main keys are; trust, patience, forgiveness, communication, compromise, compassion, loyalty, and “fire”. There are so many little things that I heard that became aware to me of what it takes to make a marriage happy that never occurred to me too. Things like; courage, strength, thoughtfulness, and closeness. I believe that no marriage will ever be “perfect”, but in my eyes there will always be a blissful marriage that is reachable. When I asked a good friend today what she thinks makes her marriage so happy she simply told me; love, trust, loyalty, forgiveness, patience, compromise, communication, and time spent just between you and your spouse. Marriage is hard, and it will always be a challenge, but if both of you are willing to work on it everyday and always do what is best for each other, and yourself; you will succeed. I know that someday my prince charming will come. I am so happy that I have so many marriages around me that are blissfully happy; they are inspiration. I have always loved the scripture I put above, because I feel as if every single word is true. It is something to live by each and everyday. It says it as simple as you can imagine.

Congratulations to my parents for 26 years of marriage. Many years of memories down, and many years of memories to go. I love you both.

Weekend Recap.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Ugh.. I so didn't want it to be Monday today.

Well here is a what happened this weekend.

One: Laid by the pool for a majority of the day Saturday. Felt amazing. Of course my Kati joined me. Two: Then we went for ice cream! Yep mature ice cream I know. Kati and I decided that B.R. needs to up their game and put circle ice cream in their bubble gum ice cream..

Three and Four: Kati and I went down to Mesquite to enjoy dinner at Katheryn's in the Casablanca and then we came home and had a sleepover..!

Five: Caramel Mocha from Meme's in Springdale.. Came for Breakfast on Sunday!

Six: Strawberry and Banana Crepes from Breakfast. They were delicious and gone in seconds!

Seven through Nine:  Kati, Wyatt, Aubrey, Levi, and Myself spent the rest of the day in Zion's hiking. Such a beautiful place, I love it there. Got some sun, and my nose is now a little on the red side. It was completely worth it. Felt amazing up there!

Best Purchase:  Get Ready, Get Ready, Ok.... Yes I splurged and finally got it! Ooh I love my new purse from Michael Kors. Plus Dillards had this awesome sale that if you brought in an old purse for charity you could receive anywhere from $10-$50 off your purse. So I had to get it of course.!

Isn't it totally adorable, I think so.

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE:

My Uncle Brad got very hurt this last weekend while racing his motorcycle. He will be in the hospital for a long time, and I was just hoping to ask everyone to keep him in your prayers. Send good thoughts his way. We need all the prayers and goodness sent that way.! I love you Uncle Brad, hang in there.

Dear Friday: I am so happy that you are here. This week has been such a bad week, and I just am so happy that the weekend is finally here. Dear Weather: I would very much appreciate it if you just stay like this, 80 degrees is a wonderful day. Dear Michael Kors: We have a much love/hate relationship. I love you bags so very much; My wallet on the other hand, doesn't appreciate it. I am so in love with the new Navy and White Nautical looking canvas bag that you have. I think it may need a spot in my closet. Dear Phone: If you die on me, I am going to throw you at a wall. I don't like that you keep going white. If you die, I just might die. I don't want to have to pay to replace you, just not right now. Dear Allergies: You can go away any second now. I am so tired of sneezing and blowing my nose. I sure would appreciate it. Dear Iggy's: I usually love you, but last night you were awful. Sad thing, cause all I wanted was for a good drink. One word; Disappointment. Dear Weekend: Please slow down and take your time while your here. I would love to take in as much of your sunshine this weekend as I possibly can. I am sure that everyone around me would appreciate to not have to stare at the glow of my white skin. Dear Dish: I am missing you more than ever right now, ACM'S this weekend and The Voice is back on. I am so sad that I can't watch it.
