Hello Lovelies! I am so excited that it is finally Friday and because it is Friday, I thought I would link up with Leslie for a little Confessional Friday!

I confess  

+ I am completely exhausted from this week and I am more than ready for this weekend.

+ This whole Daylight Savings thing is kinda screwing with me, I went to bed wayy to early last night. 

+ I have been craving homemade pie so bad, it must be November.

+ I am super excited for The Creative Closet link up on Tuesday because this one is really pushing me out of my comfort zone! Plus, I got some amazing inspiration for another lovely blogger. Can't wait to share it with all of you!

+ I am in love that the red cup has finally made its way into Starbucks,, Holidays are here!!

+ I possible spent way over what I should have Charming Charlies this week.. I couldn't resist though... Then, of course, when I get home I find a $20 off coupon in the mail - always seems to happen to me.

+ I have been thinking about buying the new tswift album; which is unlike me - I haven't exactly loved her music for a while.

+ I didn't watch the CMA Awards last night, thanks to not having cable in the house, but I will be watching it tonight. I couldn't resist though looking at the fashion on US Magazine.. I may or may not have complied my Love, Hate and Blah ones for you today!

Lucy - This dress is perfection! I do not have a single bad thing to say. Amazing!

Carrie - My first glance, I didn't love this dress, but it grew on me and I really love it now. Especially from the side view, it is a perfect compliment to that baby bump!

Danielle - The plunging neckline and velvet material are winners for me. Beautiful choice!

Zayn Malik get engaged to his girlfriend Perrie Edwards. The two have been dating since 2011. Congrats to the newly engaged couple!

 

Kelly Clarkson and her fiancé Brandon Blackstock shared an amazing engagement photo. I think it is just breathtaking if you ask me.

 

The newly engaged couple Ashley Tisdale and Christopher French was seen at the annual InStyle Summer Soiree. I think this couple is killer together, they for sure will make beautiful babies

New family photo of Prince William, Kate, and baby George has been released. I think it is apparent that a family friend must have taken the photo, but I think it is a sweet gesture to release a family photo for everyone to view.

On a sad note.. The famous Disney Channel Star Lee Thompson “Jett Jackson”, he took his life at the young age of 29. Such a sad thing, he was so handsome!

Personally I think it is the best decision. Even though I liked Brooks, I don’t think he was as far along in the journey of their relationship as Des was. Chris is everything that Des has been wanting the entire season. I think Chris will make Des happy forever! Happy Engagement to Des and Chris!

Wednesday: Words of Wisdom

I have learned so much about myself in such a short period of time this past 6 months. I know that I should always stand up for myself, my beliefs, and my future. I should stand strong in my own shoes, because I should be comfortable enough to be who I am; at all times. I never want to try and be someone else, just because that is what someone else expects of me. I am myself for a reason; uniqueness is beauty in every form.

p.s. I have to give a shout out to Kati. I am so very proud of this girl right here! She has reached her 18 month mark of sobriety, and it is an amazing accomplishment. She is such an inspiration to me! Such a strong and beautiful young woman she is.!

Welcome Baby.. Royal Baby

Prince William and Duchess Kate welcomed their first child into the world yesterday. A baby boy to be exact, whose name has yet to be released, Kate was said to have had a natural delivery in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital at 4:24 pm yesterday. The baby boy came into this world weighing 8lbs and 6oz. I think it is pretty cool that The Prince was born in the same hospital as his father and uncle.

Princes Charles and Duchess Camilla said “Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of my first grandchild. It is an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we are so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy.” “Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future.”

Now time for the name game..What do you think it will be.? Something Classic or Something New.? Ooh I can’t wait, but I sure hope they don’t take 7 days like Princess Diana did.

You Named Your Baby What..?

Alright, I’m going to say it.

Thank goodness it’s not just Utahan’s that come up with these “creative” names for the children they bring into the world.

Now I love being creative with baby names, but sometimes I just look at people and have to ask

“Why; in the world would you ever name your child that.?”

For starters;

NORTH WEST or DAISY BOO PAMELA

Sadly, it isn’t the first nor the last time that a celebrity will name their child something that is so unfortunate.  

Let’s take a look at some other ones.

Pink and Carey Hart her husband chose WILLOW SAGE HART for their daughter. I actually love Willow & Sage. Willow was chosen to because Pink grew up near a Willow Tree and likes that they are resilient in nature, Sage was chosen because it means cleansing.

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy, her fiancé named their baby boy BINGHAM or Bing for short. Bingham is an important family name for both Matt and Kate, and Kate’s mother Hawn. To me it’s a beautiful thing to keep a family name going strong, whether it is a first or middle name.

Nicole Richey and Joel Madden named their two children HARLOW WINTER KATE & SPARROW JAMES MIDNIGHT MADDEN. I honestly love the name Harlow and Sparrow. Harlow is a nod to classic Hollywood, Jean Harlow and Shalom Harlow are the two inspirations for the name the couple decided on. Sparrow reminded Nicole of Captain Sparrow, and it reminds Joel of the Johnny Cash song, “A Boy Names Sue.”

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham chose HARPER SEVEN BECKHAM. Harper was chosen because of the love that Victoria has for old English Names. Seven was chosen because its meaning for the family, David’s Manchester United’s Jersey is number 7, then too top it off Harper was born on the 7^th month on the 7^th day, in the 7^th hour. So it just fit perfectly. I love the name Harper, just so adorable.

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have named their two girls HONOR MARIE WARREN & HAVEN GARNER WARREN. I love that they both start with the letter “H” and the names they have chosen for their girls have meaning behind it. Like Honor Marie was named after the Virtue, and Haven Garner was named after she was born in her amniotic sac. Cash said, “She was born in her safe haven.”

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied named their son ALEPH MILLEPIED. I honestly saw the name, and wondered what in the world. Where did that come from, but come to find out it is the first letter in the Hebrew language, and it also means number one in Hebrew. I think it a cool story as to why you named your child something out of the norm.

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick named their little boy MASON DASH DISICK. Mason is a pretty normal name, and I love it. Dash actually comes from when Kourtney learned her uncle used the name when making dinner reservations, because Kardashian was too difficult. So Dash was chosen as a trible to her last name and her dad’s nickname. I think it is really cool, and he is adorable.!

Jamie Oliver and Juliette Norton have by far I think exceeded the unusual names for their four children. Ready for it, are you sure, ok here they are DAISY BOO PAMELA, POPPY HONEY ROSIE, PETAL BLOSSOM RAINBOW AND BUDDY BEAR MAURICE OLIVER.  There you have it folks. The most unusual odd names you can give your children, by far. Poor, poor, poor children is all I have to say for these ones.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon names their two precious twins MOROCCAN AND MONROE CANNON. Moroccan Scott is names after the room in Mariah’s New York apartment, where Nick proposed to her. Scott is actually Nick’s middle name and his grandmother’s maiden name. I think it amazing that they can share that special meaning of the day where he asked her to be his wife, through their child’s name. Monroe Cannon is names after Marilyn Monroe, who is Mariah’s business inspiration. Monroe doesn’t have a middle name because she is keeping the tradition of her mother, Mariah, not having one.

Kim Kardashian and Kayne West named their daughter NORTH WEST; named after GPS coordinates. Like really, why? I can handle some off the wall names, but North West. I don’t mind the first name, yes it is unusual, but when you throw West on the end. Come on.! Really!
